I recently found out that our school has ban us from social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter , Instant messaging client like MSN messenger.. My friends and I are very upset regarding this issue.
We think it is very ridiculous and unreasonable such that during our break time when we are done with our assignment and have got nothing much on hands, we cannot do things we normally do during our free time. Not only that, by banning the network, it causes alot of inconvenience during class, we need to discuss or send information regarding school work given to us among our group mates. By sending information via social networking platforms such as MSN messenger is much more convenient for the whole class to reach each other without shouting across the classroom.
In my opinion, I think that it is alright if the school management were to ban our network during lesson time and then resume it back during our break time. We suggest that by asking permission from our class facilitators, to use social networking platforms to communicate with one another or maybe we can request the school to allow the facilitator of the day to control the network system instead of the school management. Hopefully the school will do something about it.
Thank you.
